OUR STORY

At UppaCrick Farm, we are passionate about getting back to the basics and natural healing. We have always believed in the power of herbs and their ability to heal the body from the inside out! We are not doctors, scientist or specialists. We take what we find from our books, google, social media and our ancestors and then create our own unique blends until we make what excites us! Do you ever see a video of someone who made an oil blend that looks magical and think "that seems so simple to make ourselves!" We do too! We not only make it, we adapt it, we use high quality ingredients, add what we think is missing and test it on ourselves. When we stumble upon something that becomes "the thing" we can't live without, we feel like we have to share it with others! What started as two sisters goofing around in the kitchen with a dream to create back to basics, everyday products that are good for you, has now become a reality. We are proud to offer our customers a range of herbal remedies, natural skin care products and handmade unique crafts.

About Kelsi...

I am a mother of 3 amazing kids and have been married for 10 years.  I grew up embracing a natural and holistic way of living. We learned from our mother and grandmother who utilized homesteading skills, natural remedies and holistic healing methods to take care of their families. Gardening, raising animals, harvesting our crops and using mother nature to sustain some of our everyday needs are my favorite memories growing up on a little mini farm. Our grandpa was a skilled multitasker, always finding ways to use his vast set of skills to build things or improve the farm. Inspired by our heritage, we set out to create a farm that promotes the use of natural ingredients for food and self-care. We purchased a 14-acre farm in Arlington, WA in 2022 and are slowly taking strides to fulfill our dreams of big gardens, fields full of lavender and other herbs and animals to create abundance with permaculture style farming. We can't wait to see and share our farm's abundance! I constantly lean on my sister's knowledge of gardening, preserving and trying to remember all the tricks our parents & grandparents taught us growing up. Our shared desire to live a homesteading & back to basics lifestyle has really come together and together we found an avenue to share our passion for creating these amazing products!

About Prina...

I am a mother of 2 teenage girls and have been married for over 20 years. I have always enjoyed gardening and had a love for nature and it's beauty, but when my husband developed type 1 diabetes at age 40, I began to look at things in a new way. I realized that a lot of the medicines didn't agree with him or gave him a new ailment that we had to figure out, and then his gut health really took a turn for the worse.  With a lot of research and experimentation, I discovered the benefits of natural remedies and herbs. I created herbal blends, teas, tinctures and salves that have helped my family in ways I couldn't imagine. My sister was there for every step in helping me make new remedies. We started seeing the benefits not only in my husband's health, but our own health as well, because we were testing them on ourselves. We started really diving in and creating more things in our studio for ourselves, family and friends. It's amazing what using just calendula grown in your own garden can do for you in tea, oils and salves. Finding out about the incredible gut healing powers that lemon balm, which was growing out of control in my front yard, can do for gut health! One of the most fulfilling parts about what we create is using plants/herbs we grow in our garden, harvest it find uses for it in so many forms, such as fresh, dried, cold pressed or extracted. Taking the cold pressed calendula oil we grew, dried and soaked go into our salve that we put everywhere from our children's rash, cuts, burns or our dog's itchy ear is a special full circle feeling. Now I'm excited to share this knowledge with others that are looking to incorporate more natural ingredients into their daily routines!
